Setting the corporate identity
Speakap allows you to adjust the platform to match your corporate identity.
Change the colors and backgrounds used on the platform by navigating to the Appearance section:
- Click on your profile picture on the top right of your screen;
- Select Network settings;
- Click the Appearance menu item.
General
The first of six tabs is the General tab.
Pick a name for this specific them which you have selected to edit or you have added as new theme.
Furthermore, you are able to add your network logo and your favicon, the icon that is used by webbrowsers to match with your network.
Colors
The second of six tabs is the Colors tab.
Insert a six character hexadecimal color code or use the color pickers to adjust the header color, button color and link color. A preview will be shown above the color pickers.
Click on the Save button at the bottom right to save your changes. Alternatively, you may restore the default settings by clicking the x button.
Background
The third of six tabs is the Background tab.
The background tab is used to determine the background for logged in users. This background will be shown across the entire platform.
Select one of our default backgrounds or upload your own background in this screen.
The recommended resolution is 1440 x 990 pixels (aspect ratio 16:10).
Click on the Save button at the bottom right to save your changes. Alternatively, you may restore the default settings by clicking the x button.
Login (Only for default theme)
The fourth of six tabs is the Login tab.
The login tab is used to determine which background(s) you would like to show in the login screen of your network. Up to four backgrounds may be uploaded. If you select more than one background, the backgrounds will play in rotation.
The recommended resolution is 1440 x 990 pixels (aspect ratio 16:10).
Click on the Save button at the bottom right to save your changes. Alternatively, you may restore the default settings by clicking the x button.
Covers
The fifth of six tabs is the Covers tab.
The cover tab is used to determine which backgrounds should be used on groups, profile pages and news items.
The recommended resolution is 1200 x 400 pixels for covers.
The minimum resolution for an image is 780x260 pixels. If you upload a larger image, you have the ability to crop the uploaded image to your liking.
Click on the Save button at the bottom right to save your changes. Alternatively, you may restore the default settings by clicking the x button.
Assign theme (Not possible for default theme)
The last of six tabs is the Assign theme tab.
In this section you will be able to set a custom team for a business unit or local department.
