We offer four different group types, with varying joining options and visibility for non-members. This allows you to tailor your network to fit your company's needs.
Public
A Public group is accessible to everyone within the organisation. This kind of group allows open communication and easy access to shared content. It's ideal for organisation-wide announcements, events, and discussions where everyone is welcome to contribute.
- How can you join the group? Everyone can join the group by clicking the Join button.
- Who can see the group's content? Everyone, even if you are not a member of the group.
Restricted
Restricted groups provide a more controlled environment for discussions that require some level of moderation or privacy. While anyone can request to join, membership must be approved by the group admin, ensuring the content remains relevant to its purpose.
- Who can see the group's content? Everyone, but only members are able to participate.
- How can you join the group? Everyone can request to join, the (group) admin needs to approve or invite members.
Private
A Private group offers a space for more confidential or focused discussions. Only members of the group can see and engage with the content, allowing for a secure exchange of ideas and information within a specific team or project.
- Who can see the group's content? Members only, non-members can still see the group itself.
- How can you join the group? Everyone can request to join, the (group) admin needs to approve or invite members.
Secret
Secret groups are entirely hidden from non-members, offering the highest level of privacy. These groups are used for highly sensitive discussions where discretion is essential.
- Who can see the group's content? Members only, non-members also cannot see the group.
- How can you join the group? The (group) admin needs to invite members.
