Article summary: Group conversations in Speakap are designed to be flexible. Participants can manage their own presence, while group admins have the authority to manage other members directly from the chat interface on both web and mobile.

- Open the group conversation in the Chat section.
- Click the Details button in the top right corner.
- In the sidebar that appears, scroll down to the Members list.
- Click the three-dot menu icon (...) next to the name of the person you wish to remove.
- Select Remove from group.
On Mobile:
- Open the group conversation and tap on the Group Name at the top of the screen.
- Tap on the Members list to see all participants.

3. Deleting a group
If you are the Group Owner and the conversation is no longer needed, you can delete the entire group for all members. On Desktop, this is found under the same three-dot menu icon (...) in the chat Details sidebar by selecting Delete group.
4. Administrative Support
If a Group Admin is unavailable and a user must be removed urgently, a Network Administrator can contact Speakap Support for assistance (email: support@speakap.com).
Important: For security reasons, only Network Administrators are authorized to request manual system-level removals. When contacting Support, please provide:
- The Full Name of the user to be removed.
- The Exact Name of the group conversation.
