Summary: This guide is for anyone whose Speakap emails are not arriving, such as password reset emails or account invitations. It explains how to find missing automated messages, check that your email address is correct, and adjust your email settings so Speakap messages don't end up in spam.
1. Delivery checklist for missing emails
Speakap sends secure, automated emails for important account actions such as profile activations, updates, and password resets. Occasionally, email providers mistakenly mark these official messages as spam and route them out of your primary inbox.
If you have requested a password reset link or are expecting an onboarding invite but the email has not arrived, please review the following checklist:
- Verify your email address: make sure the exact email address you are entering in the password recovery field matches the spelling of the address registered on your employee profile.
- Check secondary folders: thoroughly check your Spam, Junk, Promotions, or Clutter folders to see if your email application intercepted the message.
2. Configuring your safe senders list
If you have verified your email spelling and searched your junk folders but still cannot find the email, your email client may be blocking the incoming message.
To resolve this, go to your email account settings and add our official sender address, noreply@mail.speakap.io, directly to your personal address book, contacts list, or "Safe Senders" whitelist.
Once you have saved this, return to the Speakap login screen and request the password reset email again. It should now arrive in your primary inbox.
Frequently asked questions
Why am I not receiving my Speakap password reset email? Most missing system emails are redirected by aggressive email filters. Check your spelling, search your Spam folder, and add our official sender address to your safe senders list before requesting another reset email.
What is the official email address Speakap uses to send secure notifications? All automated account alerts, password reset emails, and platform invitation links are sent exclusively from noreply@mail.speakap.io.
What should I do if my corporate email domain is blocking Speakap system messages? If adding noreply@mail.speakap.io to your personal email contacts does not solve the delivery failure, contact your company's internal IT department or network administrator. They can adjust your organization's email security policies to whitelist messages coming from our sender domain.
Still stuck?
If your IT department has whitelisted noreply@mail.speakap.io and the emails still aren't arriving, email us at support@speakap.com with your network name, the email address that should receive the messages, and roughly when you requested the email, and we'll help you out.
