Summary: You can adjust your profile privacy settings to hide your primary login email address from colleagues. This guide shows how to turn this visibility setting off on both the web platform and the mobile apps.
1. On desktop (web browser)
If you are working on a computer, you can make your primary email address invisible across the network by following these steps:
- Log into your Speakap account.
- Click your avatar in the top right-hand corner of the page, then the gear wheel (Settings), then Personal Settings.
- Click on Privacy settings in the left-hand navigation menu.
- Locate the option labeled Share my primary email address with others and switch the toggle to Off. Your email will be immediately hidden from other users.
2. On mobile (iOS and Android apps)
If you prefer to manage your profile privacy from your smartphone, the process is the same on both mobile platforms:
- Open and log into the Speakap app on your iOS or Android device.
- Tap the Menu icon to slide open the primary navigation drawer.
- Select Settings from the list.
- Tap on Privacy and Security.
- Locate the Share my primary email address with others option and switch the toggle to Off.
Note: network administrators can also update the default setting to not show primary emails on people's profiles.
