How AI Credits work
Speakap measures the usage of its AI features in AI Credits. Each AI feature costs a set number of credits per use, called its Credit Weight.
Two things to keep in mind:
- Costs can change: in line with Speakap's General Terms and Conditions, Speakap may adjust the Credit Weight of existing features as cloud infrastructure and AI models evolve.
- New features: when new AI features launch, their credit weights are added to this overview.

What is a Credit Weight and how does it affect our credit balance?
A feature's Credit Weight is the number of credits deducted from your organization's shared credit pool each time that feature is used. For example, one chatbot answer deducts exactly one credit.
Will the credit cost of a feature change over time?
It can. Speakap may adjust credit weights as the underlying AI models are updated. Any changes are documented in this article.
