Configuring Event Reminders

On Speakap, you can create events within your network and most of the times, the invitees need a reminder on a specific period before the particular event and now you can configure reminders for those events! 

The new Event Reminders functionality offer to automatically enable a reminder notification to be sent upon responding as ‘Attend’ or ‘Maybe’ to an Event. By default, there will be a single reminder sent 10 minutes before an event, but it will be possible for you to change these settings for each individual event and even to set a default behaviour for these events. 

Setting for a single Event

As well as saving default reminder settings, you can also set them up for individual events that you are attending. These settings will only be applied to that event only. The bell icon won’t be responsive unless you respond with “Attend” or “Maybe”. Once you set them, the bell icon indicate this by turning blue.

Setting up the defaults

You can find your default settings for reminders under the Events section of your personal settings. These settings will be automatically applied by default to all events that you have responded to.
