Introduction to the Speakap User Sync

Managing users effectively is key to a successful Speakap implementation in your organization. For smaller companies, it might be manageable to handle employee management manually within Speakap, but larger companies may find this approach challenging.

To streamline this process, Speakap provides the User Sync application. This handy tool will invite your employees to the appropriate Business Unit and department within Speakap, transfer them as they change roles within your company, and automatically remove them from the network when they leave your organisation.

How it works

The User Sync app is an application that takes information from your HR-tool and translates that information into invitations, mutations and deletions on your Speakap network. To do this, the application requires two things:

  • Employee record: an overview of all your employees and their position within your company. This is (based on) your HR-tool and is therefore managed by you.
  • Mapping: a view of the structure of your company and how that relates to your Speakap network. This is set up and usually managed by Speakap.
