1. Notifications and Enrollment
Whether you are part of the executive management team, a specific business unit, or a local team, you may occasionally be enrolled in targeted information through Journeys.
When a new journey is assigned to you, Speakap will alert you immediately through multiple communication channels:
- An email notification sent to your inbox.
- A push notification on your mobile device.
- An unread alert appearing directly in your platform Alert Center.
2. Finding and opening your Journey
You do not have to search endlessly to find your training assignments. You can jump directly into your Journey using whichever access method is most convenient for you:
On Desktop
- Direct Links: Click the link embedded within your email notification, push alert, or Alert Center message.
- The Feed Banner: Look for the promotional Journey banner displayed next to your main timeline feed view.
- The Main Menu: Click on Journeys within the left-side navigation menu to open your personal dashboard.
On Mobile
- Direct Links: Tap any system notification or email shortcut to launch the module instantly.
- The General Menu: Tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the bottom right corner of your screen. From this general menu screen, you can click on Journeys or interact with any active Journey banner listed there.
3. Stepping through your training
Once you press or tap into a journey, the learning interface will open. To complete the journey successfully, navigate the steps using these guidelines:
- Review Content Thoroughly: Read through the provided articles, look at the visual aids, and watch any embedded media files attentively.
- Mark Steps Complete: At the bottom of each section, make sure to explicitly mark the current step as complete. Doing so saves your progress and unlocks the next logical module.
- Quiz Steps: You may encounter short, intuitive multiple-choice Quizzes designed to test your understanding of critical policies or guidelines.
Can't finish it all in one session? Don't worry, you don't have to complete your journey in one go! If you need to stop, you can safely close out of the module. Your place will be saved automatically. To resume your training later, simply navigate back to the Journeys dashboard via your menu to see your visual progress meter and pick up right where you left off.
4. Journey Completion
Once you have successfully advanced through the final mandatory step of your training program, a completion pop-up window will appear on your screen confirming your success. If your training included any evaluated quiz steps, this final summary window will also calculate and display your official module score!
