Everything about News

The News feature is the perfect way to share long form information with a target audience, collected and organized in its own space within Speakap.

You can access News by navigating to the left side menu, once you click into the feature you will see a tool bar with the search, filtering, and creating a new post options.

Right below you can see all the published news items addressed to you, with the newest in the top left.

You can filter your News landing page in the top right corner, here are your options:

Searching News Items

Looking for that news item your manager posted a couple of months ago and don’t feel like scrolling through other department news? Easy: use the dedicated News search bar at the top of the page.

By using this search bar instead of the universal Speakap search, you are sure to get only relevant news items as results.

What does a news item look like?

  • Open a news item by clicking  on the card with the title you can see on the landing page.
  • Once you do, you’ll see the news header and the content down below.
  • Under the title you will find the author and the time and date of publication.
  • Below the header on the right, you will find a box with links to the most recently posted news items for easier navigation.
