Password requirements:
- At least 5 characters long.
- Fewer than 128 characters long.
- Completely different from your email address.
3. Submit a support request
Once your portal account is active and you are logged in, filing a request takes just a few moments:
- Click Submit a request in the top-right corner of the Support Portal.
- Select the category from the dropdown menu that best describes your issue.
- Fill in the details of your request and click Submit.
4. Track and manage your support tickets
The portal makes it easy to keep tabs on your open requests without digging through your inbox.
- View your submitted tickets: Click your avatar (profile picture) in the top-right corner of the portal and select My activities. Under the My requests tab you'll find all tickets you submitted, with their current status.
- View tickets where you are copied: Click the Requests I'm CC'd on tab to see threads where a colleague copied you in.
- Interact with a thread: Click the title of any ticket to review the conversation history, add comments, or reply to the support agent.
Tip for organization leads: By default, you only see tickets you submitted yourself. Speakap can extend your account permissions so you can also view tickets submitted by anyone in your organization. Email support@speakap.com if your role needs this extended visibility.
Frequently asked questions
| Question | Answer |
| Do I need a Support Portal account to contact Speakap? | A portal account is strongly recommended. You can still email support@speakap.com directly, but a portal account lets you track progress easily and gives our team the context to help you faster. |
| I emailed Support before, do I need to sign up again? | No. Just click Get a password on the sign-in screen and enter that same email address to receive a setup link for your existing profile. |
| What if I didn't receive the password setup email? | Check your spam or junk folder first. If it isn't there, run through the Get a password flow once more, or ask your company's IT administrator whether our messages are being blocked by a firewall. |
| How do I check the status of my ticket? | Log in to the Support Portal, click your avatar, and select My activities to see all statuses. |
| Can I see tickets submitted by my colleagues? | Not by default. Email support@speakap.com to request extended visibility for your account. |
